How can you help us?

We are entirely self-funded, depending on the public’s contribution and support to carry on the good work for brain and spine injured survivors and their carers. Your generous donation will provide funds for direct services (in support of the survivor and their families), public education, primary prevention and financial assistance to the needy. We need you to achieve our vision in improving the lives of those affected by brain and spine injury. Your help is invaluable in our quest to be a source of inspiration, hope, and support in the face of brain and spine injury.

Be a volunteer!

Volunteers are the most valuable resource to the SBSIF. As a new organization, we would benefit from whatever little help you can provide. Your contributions would be important in organizing the support group meetings, social activities for the survivors and their families, fund-raising projects and in raising public awareness. For those with experiences with the brain and spine injured, sharing your experiences as a care-giver or a survivor would go a long way in helping those in need.

The support of volunteers is integral to the efforts of the SBSIF’s mission

‘Improving the lives of those affected by brain and spine injury through advocacy, motivation and support …… preventing neurological injury through education ….. and pressing onwards toward the future with research’

We believe that in time to come, many more will share our vision

‘A source of inspiration, hope and support in the face of brain and spine injury’
